英语演讲稿1
Learning English with English speech is an essential activity. English speech, not only can we have learned into practice, more attractive to pass the language. Students to overcome the psychological barriers standing confidently express their feelings in English on the podium. Below this is an outstanding high school students English speech.
Good morning, ladies and gentlemen,!
I’m very glad to make a speech here. Today my topic is “I love you, China.” Since the day I was born, I began to have a proud name—Chinese. Since the day I began to talk, the most beautiful sentence I’ve ever learnt has been “I love you, China!” I love you, China, and I’m so proud of being a Chinese. I’m proud that I’ve got the beautiful yellow skin, black eyes and black hair. I’m also proud that I speak the most beautiful language in the world—Chinese. I love you, China, for I can feel the deep love you give me every day, every minute. Last year, I got an opportunity to visit the United States of America. During my staying there, my father’s boss once invited my family to dinner. While at , he looked at me and asked: “Little boy, how long have you been in America?” “About a month,” I answered, “How lucky you are!” he said, “If you were living in China, how could you learn such perfect English?” I smiled and told him proudly that all the students in China are able to learn English at school. I saw his surprised eyes and said to myself, “I’m proud of you, China ”.
Thank you for your listening!
英语演讲稿2
dare to compete. dare to care. dare to dream. dare to love. practice the art of making possible. and no matter what happens, even if you hear shouts behind, keep going.
it is such an honor and pleasure for me to be back at yale, especially on the occasion of the 300th anniversary. i have had so many memories of my time here, and as nick was speaking i thought about how i ended up at yale law school. and it tells a little bit about how much progress wesquo;ve made.
what i think most about when i think of yale is not just the politically charged atmosphere and not even just the superb legal education that i received. it was at yale that i began work that has been at the core of what i have cared about ever since. i began working with new haven legal services representing children. and i studied child development, abuse and neglect at the yale new haven hospital and the child study center. i was lucky enough to receive a civil rights internship with marian wright edelman at the childrensquo;s defense fund, where i went to work after i graduated. those experiences fueled in me a passion to work for the benefit of children, particularly the most vulnerable.
now, looking back, there is no way that i could have predicted what path my life would have taken. i didnsquo;t sit around the law school, saying, well, you know, i think isquo;ll graduate and then isquo;ll go to work at the childrensquo;s defense fund, and then the impeachment inquiry, and nixon retired or resigns, isquo;ll go to arkansas. i didnsquo;t think like that. i was taking each day at a time.
but, isquo;ve been very fortunate because isquo;ve always had an idea in my mind about what i thought was important and what gave my life meaning and purpose. a set of values and beliefs that have helped me navigate the shoals, the sometimes very treacherous sea, to illuminate my own true desires, despite that others say about what l should care about and believe in. a passion to succeed at what l thought was important and children have always provided that lone star, that guiding light. because l have that absolute conviction that every child, especially in this, the most blessed of nations that has ever existed on the face of earth, that every child deserves the opportunity to live up to his or her god-given potential.
but you know that belief and conviction-it may make for a personal mission statement, but standing alone, not translated into action, it means very little to anyone else, particularly to those for whom you have those concerns.
when i was thinking about running for the united states senate-which was such an enormous decision to make, one i never could have dreamed that i would have been making when i was here on campus-i visited a school in new york city and i met a young woman, who was a star athlete.
i was there because of billy jean king promoting an hbo special about women in sports called dare to compete. it was about title ix and how we finally, thanks to government action, provided opportunities to girls and women in sports.
and although i played not very well at intramural sports, i have always been a strong supporter of women in sports. and i was introduced by this young woman, and as i went to shake her hand she obviously had been reading the newspapers about people saying i should or shouldnsquo;t run for the senate. and i was congratulating her on the speech she had just made and she held onto my hand and she said, dare to compete, mrs. clinton. dare to compete.
i took that to heart because it is hard to compete sometimes, especially in public ways, when your failures are there for everyone to see and you donsquo;t know what is going to happen from one day to the next. and yet so much of life, whether we like to accept it or not, is competing with ourselves to be the best we can be, being involved in classes or professions or just life, where we know we are competing with others.
i took her advice and i did compete because i chose to do so. and the biggest choices that yousquo;ll face in your life will be yours alone to make. isquo;m sure yousquo;ll receive good advice. yousquo;re got a great education to go back and reflect about what is right for you, but you eventually will have to choose and i hope that you will dare to compete. and by that i donsquo;t mean the kind of cutthroat competition that is too often characterized by what is driving america today. i mean the small voice inside you that says to you, you can do it, you can take this risk, you can take this next step.
and it doesnsquo;t mean that once having made that choice you will always succeed. in fact, you wonsquo;t. there are setbacks and you will experience difficult disappointments. you will be slowed down and sometimes the breath will just be knocked out of you. but if you carry with you the values and beliefs that you can make a difference in your own life, first and foremost, and then in the lives of others. you can get back up, you can keep going.
but it is also important, as i have found, not to take yourself too seriously, because after all, every one of us here today, none of us is deserving of full credit. i think every day of the blessings my birth gave me without any doing of my own. i chose neither my family nor my country, but they as much as anything isquo;ve ever done, determined my course.
you compare my or your circumstances with those of the majority of people whosquo;ve ever lived or who are living right now, they too often are born knowing too well what their futures will be. they lack the freedom to choose their lifesquo;s path. theysquo;re imprisoned by circumstances of poverty and ignorance, bigotry, disease, hunger, oppression and war.
so, dare to compete, yes, but maybe even more difficult, dare to care. dare to care about people who need our help to succeed and fulfill their own lives. there are so many out there and sometimes all it takes is the simplest of gestures or helping hands and many of you understand that already. i know that the numbers of graduates in the last 20 years have worked in community organizations, have tutored, have committed themselves to religious activities.
you have been there trying to serve because you have believed both that it was the right thing to do and because it gave something back to you. you have dared to care.
well, dare to care to fight for equal justice for all, for equal pay for women, against hate crimes and bigotry. dare to care about public schools without qualified teachers or adequate resources. dare to care about protecting our environment. dare to care about the 10 million children in our country who lack health insurance. dare to care about the one and a half million children who have a parent in jail. the seven million people who suffer from hiv/aids. and thank you for caring enough to demand that our nation do more to help those that are suffering throughout this world with hiv/aids, to prevent this pandemic from spreading even further.
and isquo;ll also add, dare enough to care about our political process. you know, as i go and speak with students isquo;m impressed so much, not only in formal settings, on campuses, but with my daughter and her friends, about how much you care, about how willing you are to volunteer and serve. you may have missed the last wave of the revolution, but yousquo;ve understood that the dot.community revolution is there for you every single day. and yousquo;ve been willing to be part of remarking lives in our community.
and yet, there is a real resistance, a turning away from the political process. i hope that some of you will be public servants and will even run for office yourself, not to win a position to make and impression on your friends at your 20th reunion, but because you understand how important it is for each of us as citizens to make a commitment to our democracy.
your generation, the first one born after the social upheavals of the 60squo;s and 70squo;s, in the midst of the technological advances of the 80squo;s and 90squo;s, are inheriting an economy, a society and a government that has yet to understand fully, or even come to grips with, our rapidly changing world.
and so bring your values and experiences and insights into politics. dare to help make, not just a difference in politics, but create a different politics. some have called you the generation of choice. yousquo;ve been raised with multiple choice tests, multiple channels, multiple websites and multiple lifestyles. yousquo;ve grown up choosing among alternatives that were either not imagined, created or available to people in prior generations.
yousquo;ve been invested with far more personal power to customize your life, to make more free choices about how to live than was ever thought possible. and i think as i look at all the surveys and research that is done, your choices reflect not only freedom, but personal responsibility.
the social indicators, not the headlines, the social indicators tell a positive story: drug use and cheating and arrests being down, been pregnancy and suicides, drunk driving deaths being down. community service and religious involvement being up. but if you look at the area of voting among 18 to 29 year olds, the numbers tell a far more troubling tale. many of you i know believe that service and community volunteerism is a better way of solving the issues facing our country than political engagement, because you believe-choose one of the following multiples or choose them all-government either cansquo;t understand or wonsquo;t make the right choices because of political pressures, inefficiency, incompetence or big money influence.
well, i admit there is enough truth in that critique to justify feeling disconnected and alienated. but at bottom, thatsquo;s a personal cop-out and a national peril. political conditions maximize the conditions for individual opportunity and responsibility as well as community. americorps and the peace corps exist because of political decisions. our air, water, land and food will be clean and safe because of political choices. our ability to cure disease or log onto the internet have been advanced because of politically determined investments. ethnic cleansing in kosovo ended because of political leadership. your parents and grandparents traveled here by means of government built and subsidized transportation systems. many used gi bills or government loans, as i did, to attend college.
now, i could, as you might guess, go on and on, but the point is to remind us all that government is us and each generation has to stake its claim. and, as stakeholders, you will have to decide whether or not to make the choice to participate. it is hard and it is, bringing change in a democracy, particularly now. theresquo;s so much about our modern times that conspire to lower our sights, to weaken our vision-as individuals and communities and even nations.
it is not the vast conspiracy you may have heard about; rather itsquo;s a silent conspiracy of cynicism and indifference and alienation that we see every day, in our popular culture and in our prodigious consumerism.
but as many have said before and as vaclav havel has said to memorably, it cannot suffice just to invent new machines, new regulations and new institutions. it is necessary to understand differently and more perfectly the true purpose of our existence on this earth and of our deeds. and i think we are called on to reject, in this time of blessings that we enjoy, those who will tear us apart and tear us down and instead to liberate our god-given spirit, by being willing to dare to dream of a better world.
during my campaign, when times were tough and days were long i used to think about the example of harriet tubman, a heroic new yorker, a 19th century moses, who risked her life to bring hundreds of slaves to freedom. she would say to those who she gathered up in the south where she kept going back year after year from the safety of auburn, new york, that no matter what happens, they had to keep going. if they heard shouts behind them, they had to keep going. if they heard gunfire or dogs, they had to keep going to freedom. well, those arensquo;t the risks we face. it is more the silence and apathy and indifference that dogs our heels.
thirty-two years ago, i spoke at my own graduation from wellesley, where i did call on my fellow classmates to reject the notion of limitations on our ability to effect change and instead to embrace the idea that the goal of education should be human liberation and the freedom to practice with all the skill of our being the art of making possible.
for after all, our fate is to be free. to choose competition over apathy, caring over indifference, vision over myopia, and love over hate.
just as this is a special time in your lives, it is for me as well because my daughter will be graduating in four weeks, graduating also from a wonderful place with a great education and beginning a new life. and as i think about all the parents and grandparents who are out there, i have a sense of what their feeling. their hearts are leaping with joy, but itsquo;s hard to keep tears in check because the presence of our children at a time and place such as this is really a fulfillment of our own american dreams. well, i applaud you and all of your love, commitment and hard work, just as i applaud your daughters and sons for theirs.
and i leave these graduates with the same message i hope to leave with my graduate. dare to compete. dare to care. dare to dream. dare to love. practice the art of making possible. and no matter what happens, even if you hear shouts behind, keep going.
thank you and god bless you all.

good morning, everyone ! before we start our speech, let me ask you a question. what do you believe in? of course, different people may have different answers. some may choose hard word; some may believe money is everything; others may think that nothing is more important than power. but in my opinion, honesty is the best policy. this is also the topic of our speech today.
honesty is a good virtue, it means speaking the truth and being fair and upright in act. those who lie and cheat are dishonest. those who get good grades , not by hard work, but by other means are also dishonest.
honesty is the most important. no matter what you do, if you are honest, you will be trusted and respected, but if you lie and cheat, you will be looked down upon by people around. once you lie, even if you speak the truth, people will never believe you. there is a story that the wolf is coming in our china. we should always remember this lesson, and never make the same mistake again.
since honesty is so important, we should try our best to get it , we should speak the truth all the time. we should never make such an excuse as "a little dishonest is only a trifle thing." we should get rid of the seed of dishonesty once it is sowed in our minds.
so, let's to be an honest man. it can make us have much more chances and ways to succeed, and it also makes us happy and gains fame and a lot of praise.
that's all for today! thank you for your listening!

good afternoon. i'm the president and ceo of pda drywall. we are based in raleigh, north carolina. one of the biggest setbacks in the last 12 years has been tax regulations. as we are embarking on tax forms discussions, what are you going to do for small businesses to help change those regulations in favor of small businesses?
many of the same things we have been discussing, comprehensive tax reform. mr. gary co. in the here has beenspearheading this charge at the white house. you can definitely pick his brain about tax reform. it is high on his mind these ring the corporate rate, encouraging business to grow, encouraging businesses based here to stay here, bring theircapital back that has been trapped overseas will have anenormously positive impact within our country and free updollars that can be reinvested. in conjunction with regulatoryreform, we have come out of the gate swinging. it's a major focus. my father's particular sensitivity to this issue is havingbeen a successful person in business himself. he understands thelimitations, whether businesses he was looking to buy or grow, dealing with suppliers and smaller businesses that services companies. he very much understands how the regulatory environment, while important has grown to a place where it is the unintended consequences is stifling entrepreneurial spirit. we are going to bring that back. we have started doing it. tax reform is going to be incredibly important for every american. we are optimistic about those things. and continued progress.
i would like to add, small businesses will say to me any tax reduction will be great. just let me know what it is. what is going to be my percentage. tell me what the rate is going to be so i can plan. without fail, every single one of those businesses tell me they will take that money and reinvest it in their business and hire more people. that will grow our economy. we will see that growth when we see tax rates go down. especially those in thellcs, all that money flows through. you know exactly how that works. we are working on it.

我要自由 I want be free
Good afternoon,y,my topic is “I want to be free.”It’s a story about a wolf and a dog.
A wolf was almost dead with hunger.A house-dog saw him,and asked,”friend,it’s bad for you.”
“Why don’t you work steadily as I do,and get your food regularly?” “I would have no objection.”said the wolf,”if I could only get a place.” “I will help you.”said the dog.”Come with me to my master, and you shall share me work ”
So the wolf and the dog went to the town together.
On the way ,the wolf saw that there was no hair around the dog’neck. He felt quite surprised, and asked him why it was like that?
“Oh,it is nothing.”said the dog.”Every night my master puts a collar around my neck and chains me will soon get used to it.”
“Is that the only reason.”said the wolf.”Then good bye to you,my friend.I would like to be free.”
Do you like to be free?k you for listening.

We Are The World ,We Are The Future Someone said “we are reading the first verse of the first chapter of a book, whose pages are infinite”. I don’t know who wrote these words, but I’ve always liked them as a reminder that the future can be anything we want it to be. We are all in the position of the farmers. If we plant a good seed ,we reap a good harvest. If we plant nothing at all, we harvest nothing at all. We are young. “How to spend the youth?” It is a meaningful question. To answer it, first I have to ask “what do you understand by the word youth?” Youth is not a time of life, it’s a state of mind. It’s not a matter of rosy cheeks, red lips or supple knees. It’s the matter of the will. It’s the freshness of the deep spring of life.
A poet said “To see a world in a grain of sand, and a heaven in a wild flower, hold infinity in the palm of your hand, and eternity in an hour. Several days ago, I had a chance to listen to a lecture. I learnt a lot there. I’d like to share it with all of you. Let’s show our right palms. We can see three lines that show how our love.career and life is. I have a short line of life. What about yours?
I wondered whether we could see our future in this way. Well, let’s make a fist. Where is our future? Where is our love, career, and life? Tell me.Yeah, it is in our hands. It is held in ourselves. We all want the future to be better than the past. But the future can go better itself. Don’t cry because it is over, smile because it happened. From the past, we’ve learnt that the life is tough, but we are tougher. We’ve learnt that we can’t choose how we feel, but we can choose what about it. Failure doesn’t mean you don’t have it, it does mean you should do it in a different way.
Failure doesn’t mean you should give up, it does mean you must try harder. As what I said at the beginning, “we are reading the first verse of the first chapter of a book, whose pages are infinite”. The past has gone. Nothing we do will change it. But the future is in front of us. Believe that what we give to the world, the world will give to us. And from today on, let’s be the owners of ourselves, and speak out “We are the world, we are the future.”

We Need A Blue Sky
In recent years heavy smog often appear in many cities of China, which has brought bad impact on our daily life. Since the value of PM2.5 inthe air is in the high level, many people wear masks to protect themselves when going out. Once in an area, due to the emissions of smoke from coal burning and car exhaust, the atmosphere was so heavily polluted that people couldn’t see their own fingers just in front of them and some schools and airports had to close down.
When a strong sand storm is blowing, the whole sky will turn darker and darker. It looked as if we had been spending the night when the sun is high upin the sky. It is high time we tackled with the pollution problems.
All factories in the cities that puff heavy smoke should be closed down or moved into the remote areas. All cars that emit black smoke should be banned from running on the roads. If we don’ttake resolute measures to protect our environment, our sky will never turn blue again, the air we breathe in every day will never be clean and our health will be deteriorating day by day. Therefore we appeal to the entire fellow country men, let’s take concerted action to safeguard our living environment.
Premier Li Qiang, in his work report, had called on us to tackle with the pollution problems. Following the Premier’s call, some local governments had taken some measures, such as reducing the use of coal and putting restrictions on the use of private cars to fight against the pollution. As long as
we take resolute measures to protect our environment, we can see a clear
blue sky in the near future.

英语演讲稿9
we've gone from losing 9 million jobs during the financial crisis to creating 10 million jobs. we've reduced the unemployment rate from 10% in october of to 6.1% today. and for the first time since the 1990s, american manufacturing is steadily5 adding jobs-over 700,000 since . and surveys of both american and foreign business leaders confirm that america once again is viewed as the best place in the world to build and invest.
that's all good news.
but an awful lot of middle class americans are still not feeling the effects of this recovery. since the year , gross domestic product-our gdp - has risen by 25%. and productivity in america is up by 30%. but middle class wages during that same time period have gone up by only fourteen cents.
folks, it's long past time to cut the middle class back into the deal, so they can benefit from the economic growth they helped create. folks, there used to be a bargain in this country supported by democrats6 and republicans, business and labor7. the bargain was simple. if an employee contributed to the growth and profitability of the company, they got to share in the profits and the benefits as well. that's what built the middle class. it's time to restore the bargain, to deal the middle class back in. because, folks, when the middle class does well, everybody does well-the wealthy get wealthier and the poor have a way up.
you know, the middle class is not a number. it's a value set. it means being able to own your home; raise your children in a safe neighborhood; send them to a good school where if they do well they can qualify to go to college and if they get accepted you'd be able to find a way to be able to send them to college. and in the meantime, if your parents need help, being able to take care of them, and hope to put aside enough money so that your children will not have to take care of you.
that's the american dream. that's what this country was built on. and that's what we'redetermined8 to restore.
in order to do that, it's time to have a fair tax structure, one that values paychecks as much as unearned income and inherited wealth, to take some of the burden off of the middle class. it's time to close tax loopholes so we can reduce the deficit9, and invest in rebuilding america - our bridges, our ports, our highways, rails, providing good jobs.
with corporate10 profits at near record highs, we should encourage corporations to invest more in research and development and the salaries of their employees. it's time for us to invest in educational opportunity to guarantee that we have the most highly skilledworkforce11 in the world, for 6 out of every 10 jobs in the near term is going to require some education beyond high school. folks, it's long past due to increase the minimum wage that will lift millions of hardworking families out of poverty target poverty and in the process produce a ripple12 effect that boosts wages for the middle class and spurs economic growth for the united states of america. economists13 acknowledge that if we do these and other things, wages will go up and we'll increase the gross domestic product of the united states.
my fellow americans, we know how to do this. we've done it before. it's the way we used to do business and we can do it that way again. all the middle class in this country want is a chance. no guarantee, just a chance.
americans want to work. and when given a fair shot, the american worker has never, ever, ever, let his country down. folks, it's never a good bet to bet against the american people.
thanks for listening.
英语演讲稿10
We care about ourselves more and more. We eat what's right and we exercise. We absolutely embrace health. However, it is not only our health that we should embrace, though many of us do not realize that. Many of us do not realize that the earth we live on is a fragile being that needs to be protected like a new born child.
We probably haven't even noticed, that with each stride the civilization takes toward the ultimate development, more burdens are added to the earth that provides us with essentials to live. The decrease in air quality, the climate change, medical waste, noise and water pollution, and even food poisoning has added to the list of growing concerns to our living environment. Human are not supernatural beings, thus these problems have affected pretty much every matter. We upgrade gadgets and make full use of newer technologies, but we pay for the consequences in turn. For instance, the advent of batteries and machinery has caused million tons of water become toxic and undrinkable, further aggravating the already serious condition of water shortage and poisoning in several countries. The over-production and over-use of transportation vehicles and electricity has contributed to the Global Warming and caused myriads of species to disappear from the face of the earth due to home-loss and temperature change. We have brought wonders to the world, but have also destroyed miracles of nature. We are concerned about our nutritional intake and exercise all the time, so why shouldn't we care about the conditions of our living planet as well?
Time is ticking on. We shouldn't put off the whole "save the environment" affair any longer. Please, do what feels right in our hearts, even though it is only a tiny matter. Save up resources, promote the recycling and reusing of products, and always remember to take some time off going into the woods and breathe in the sweetness in the air. We have come from the woods, thus we would all have a secret desire in our hearts to harmonize with nature again. Remember, every little thing matters.

our future: a battle between dreams and reality
good morning teacher:
when i was in the primary school, i have a dream. i want to be a scientist to be remember,
when i was in the secondary school, my dream was to study in my ideal university.
and when eventually i got into the university, my dream was to graduate.
how pathetic! when we grow up, we dream less and become more realistic. why? why do we have to change our dreams, so, so in order to let it be "fulfilled"?
why do we have to surrender to the so-called "reality"? what is the reality actually?the reality is not real. it is a barrier keeping us from all the possible fantasies.
flying, for example, had been a dream to mankind for thousands of years. a hundred years ago, "man could not fly" was still regarded as the "reality". now if that was really the reality, what did the wright brothers do? only when we believe that the reality is not real can we soar with our dreams.
people say that our future is a battle between the reality and our dreams. and if, unfortunately, mr. reality wins this war, then i see no future of mankind at all. aids will never be curable as this is the reality; people living in the undeveloped countries will suffer from starvation forever as this is the reality; disputes among different countries would never be settled as this misunderstandings and intolerance is the reality.
how many of you have a dream of being able to make a lot of money? maybe quite a number of person, actually, this is not a dream, but a task. every one of us has to make a living, right? anyway i hope your task will be accomplished. how many of you think that you have already fulfilled your dream and that you don't dream anymore? dear adjudicators, what do you think? c.s. lewis once said, "you are never too old to dream a new dream." so for our future, please dream and be unrealistic.
now that i am a university student, my goal is to graduate with excellences. but at the same time, i have a dream deeply rooted in our future. one day, people living in the areas now sweltering with the horror of wars will be able to sit with their families and enjoy their every moment.
one day, people from the rich countries are willing to share what they have with those from the poor countries and those from the poor countries will eventually be able to make their own happy living themselves.
one day, different cultures in this age of globalization will coexist with tolerance and the unfriendly confrontations among them will be eliminated.
one day, the globe will share the dream with me and we will all contribute to making our dream come true. one day, our dream will defeat the reality! thank you very much.

It’s the freshneof the deep spring of life.
And from today on, let’s be the owners of ourselves, and speak out “We are the world, we are the future.”

honorable judges, ladies and gentlemen, good morning.
first of all, let me take this chance to present to you a set of data that i hope won't bore you since the source is china daily.
china's tourism revenue last year reached 500 billion rmb, an increase of 10.5 percent from the year before, and comprised more than 5% of china's gdp. according to experts, this number will grow to 8% in the coming ten years and more than 40 million jobs will be created.
as a student majoring in economics, i can't be more sensitive to the essential meanings behind these numbers. they mean progress, prosperity, employment and stability.
however, as a conscientious chinese and citizen of the world, i can't help but care more about the losses incurred in this transaction, by which i mean the disturbing images of environmental destruction, which leads to ecological crisis. the global environment has changed for the worse during the past few years, and tourism is partly to blame. take china for example, in order to attract tourists, many unknown places are built into resorts. forests are cleared, prairies trampled, rivers and lakes 6***contaminated, wild animals are driven away, plants jeopardized and secluded populations disturbed.
if this seems too remote and abstract, my own traveling experience may speak louder here. last year i took a tour around emei mountain in sichuan province. like most tourists, i was eager to embrace nature and enjoy its beauty. however, as soon as i got on the bus, the stench of gasoline and the noise of the engine tainted my appreciation of the wonderful scenery and the tranquility of the country road. when we finally arrived, what i saw was not a beautiful landscape but crowds of people; what i heard was not the melodious singing of birds, but yelling and bargaining from the gift shops; what i smelled was not the fresh mountain air, but stinking suffocating smoke coming out of small dirty restaurants. moreover, i could not understand why the lovely monkeys living there had to take photos with tourists all day; why the beautiful butterflies and flowers had become lifeless samples in shop windows; why the strongest impressions i had was trash scattered everywhere on the ground.
however, this is not the end of the story. before i left emei, i met a group of kids in an ecotourism program with the slogan: “experiencing, learning and protecting.” when i saw their young hands picking up trash from the ground, when i felt their enjoyment and harmonious relationship with the animals, when i found their purest eyes filled with passion and love for nature, i realized to my great satisfaction that there doesn't have to be a tradeoff between tourism and ecology, because deep within us is an inclination toward natural beauty and a desire to protect it. yes, environmental problems will eventually ease with the advancement of science and technology and improvement of our management system. however, an increase of ecological education and hands-on environmental involvement of our fellow citizens will do even better. to realize this, the best way for us lies in tourism itself because nothing other than nature can teach us how to love and cherish our sweetest home. at the end of my speech, please let me quote bob dylan:
how many roads must a man walk down before you call him a man?
how many times must a man look up before he can see the sky?
how many years can a mountain exist before it's washed to the sea?
the answer, my friend, is not in the wind-the answer is ours! thank you!

Good morning, dear teacher and my friends.
it’s a very intresting topic today.
i think my dad was a hero for me when i was a young child. we'd go fishing, walks, and other fun things for a kid.
every child has a good and great father, and so do i. my dad played a very important role in my daily life`````exactly speaking, in my past 16 years.
my father always stands in the center of my life, from past till now and possibly in the future.
my family was rather poor when i was in my childhood. we didn't have our own house and had to live in a shabby, small room rented from my father's factory. the room was so small that there was little space for people to walk. i didn't have my own bed and had to sleep with my parents. this is terrible both for my parents and me.
but father made this all different!he works very hard on his own business, now we have our own 2 housese, surly,i have my own room.and he take our family so much happiness, richer and richer.
when i was little, i did everything with my dad. you could always find me sitting on his knee or walking and doing everything with him. every night he would read me a bed time story and make the voices of each character.
i learnt a lot from my daddy. i learnt to never take things to seriously and to always smile.
like many other fathers, my dad and i also has generation gap. he is not good at or even can’t work the computer. so when i sitting at the computer desk,he will say something like ‘you should pay more attention to your study’, ‘don’t waste time on the computer games’ , ‘it will be bad for your eyes’ and so on. how can i- a computer fan – reduce time on computer? so i continue studying and playing on it
years pasted, my father is over 45 now. it is time for me to look after him and i am sure i will do and we will live an even better life. and i will say,i really love you dad, cause you are the hero in my mind.
thank you so much!

We've all been taught that we should help people. It is the right thing to do and will make us popular with others. It may even win us favors in return. However, we must be realistic. We can't say yes to every request. If we did, we would fail or go crazy for sure. Sometimes we simply don't have the time to help. In this case, we must know how to say no politely.
When we need to say no, here is one method we can try. First, we should tell the truth. If we really can't do something, we should just say so. Second, we should remember to refuse requests politely. We must communicate clearly, but must also be sincere and sympathetic. A true friend will understand. Finally, we must not feel guilty about saying no. Sometimes refusing others is the right thing to do. It can save ourselves, and them, a lot of trouble. In short, we cannot please everyone all the time. Refusing favors is a part of life.

I'm sure everybody is interested in dream, so I will share a story with you.
When we talk about dreams,we are so e*cited. We all have our own dreams, some want to be teachers, others want to be doctors, others want to be scientists. However, not all dreams can come true,as people always give them up for some reason.
A dream is to a man what wings are to a bird. With a dream in the deep heart`s core, a man is spontaneously driven to hitch his wagon to a star. A dream is an ine*haustible source of energy that keeps our enthusiasm burning, and kindles our desire to enhance our spiritual cultivation, refine our character, and upgrade our quality of life. A life without a dream is like a bird with broken wings, confined to a cage and oblivious of what lies beyond the range of its vision. On the contrary, a man with a dream is like a warrior armed with ambition, foresight and gallantry, daring to step into an unknown domain to make a journey of adventure. It is dream that adds fullness, variety, and spice to our life and makes it worth living.
I would like to take Liu iang as an e*ample.Liu,as the first chinese man to win an Olympic track and field medal, dreamed of defending his Olympic title on home soil.To achieve this dream,he was bathed with sweat on the training ground every day. What’s more, now and then he suffered injuries. However, neither the injury nor the pressure has prevented him from striving to achieve the goal.Eventually,he kept or even renewed his record in the men’s 110-meter hurdle with his perseverance.
It is true that barriers may sometimes stand in the way of your dreams, but remember success is hiding behind them.Instead of making dozens of e*cuses for your failure, just think about Liu *iang’s story, hold on your dreams and never give up.
If you do not want your dreams to come to naught, then hold fast to your dreams and never give up.Just as the saying goes,”Do not,for one repulse, forgo the purpose that you resolved to effect.”
If you can do the following points, your dreams will come true one day.First, plant your dream in a fertilized soil.Second, water it with your diligence and give it the best food----knowledge.Third,remove the seeds of unhappiness for they can destory your dream. The most important is let the seed of your dream enjoy the beautiful sunshine,so what it can grow well. And however hard the situation is,o not give it up and always give it your best care. Then you will get a good harvest in the end.
Dreams are what we pursue for a lifetime, with many dreams,we have motivation to fight for our life. The opposite side of dream is reality. We have to face reality everyday, reality is what we perceive in our life.Reality always frustrates us to be successful. We need to balance them.
